Module structure of the K-theory of polynomial-like rings

We prove structural results about the relative K-theory of a polynomial-like ring R, such as an affine toric variety over a field k. Viewing R as the monoid ring for a monoid Gamma, we show that K(R) is a direct sum of continous W(k)-modules, indexed by the rays of Gamma. This is joint work with Christian Haesemeyer.
